Had setup an appt prior to my visit and was tardy. Regardless of it was welcomed in and was assisted by Martin Pham who accompanied me during the test drive and was knowledgeable of all the questions I asked and was aware of all MB features.. Took my son over to the dealership to purchase his first car and got there about 9:30. He had seen a used Lexus IS350 online he wanted checkout. Only had to make one lap before someone asked if they could help us out. It was early so I’m sure they were still getting the morning check offs done. We got Andrew to help us out, told him what we were looking for he found it and pulled it around. Wasn’t feelin the first choice but you guys had a IS250 at your other dealership in concord. And you will all agree with me that dealers have been marking up the cars and leaving no chance of negations like old time. Well I wanted to take some time and write this review and this is based on my very recent experience with Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek. I had been looking to get an S class for myself from past few weeks. I saw a car on MB of Walnut Creek’s website and immediately reached out to Jason Viscarra and Jessica Weinberger. I knew them from my past purchase. As Jason is the General Sales Manager, so he asked Jessica to assist me. Now one thing about this team is that they are very efficient, polite and knowledgeable. Jessica reached out to me. Took her notes and in less than 3 hrs the deal was done. Jason was on top of this deal and was following up with me on the parallel. Everything was done over the phone and I had no need to spend hours in the dealership to get the deal. Not only that, hats off to Jessica for staying late to deliver the car as I had work meeting and I was available late evening. The car was fully detailed, gased up and was waiting for me. Mercedes Walnut Creek Purchase review: Pros: 1) The MB product, E450 wagon, is a superb car. I am very happy with this purchase so far. 2) I liked the “ipacket” process. This contained everything document wise I needed to make a good decision on the purchase on-line and remotely. 3) The Purchase process, me being from out of state (WA), was fairly painless albeit too time consuming with getting status (see Cons.) 4) The Sales folks were amiable and knowledgeable when contact was made. The process was completed in a timely fashion. 5) The car was shipped safely and arrived on-time, even though I had to pick it up at a nearby truck stop and it was not delivered directly to my home as I expected. Cons: 1) Transparency was almost non-existent. Calling, texting, emailing the dealership with little response was not conducive. At times I worried that this purchase was a mistake. I should have never needed to initiate a response from the dealership. E.g. a. After the wire transfer was completed, not getting a call to let me know the funds had arrived safely was one big concern. b. Getting status of when and who would ship the car was latent at best. c. Getting as to when where and when the needed documents for registration would be FedEx was impossible to track. d. Requests regarding pre-shipping such as a video walk around to be email didn’t occur and no response/reply was made to my request. e. When calling the sales staff, 95% of the time the call would roll to voice mail, which didn’t share who/name of staff when voice messaged only a phone number. This would be considered bad communication. Other: 1) Everything associated with my car appears to be included. The front license plate bracket was included, but it would have been great if it was attached to the car. I did learn that Mercedes Benz of Portland appears to offer awesome service. I brought the car down and they install the bracket without a charge or an appointment and within 10 minutes. Overview: I do like the car, things did happen within a reasonable timeframe considering this was a complete on-line, unseen purchase. I would recommend the dealership especially if one were to purchase in person, and to approach an on-line purchase with patience with the assumption the background process is occurring.

We made a last minute appointment for an hour before close on a Saturday. We arrived on the dot and was immediately (and I mean immediately) greeted by Jose, our main sales guy. We went in to check the redesign on a GLA because I was wavering between that and a BMW X1 at another dealership. Car buying now is atrocious. Since stock is minimal and supply chain issues are rampant, many salespeople act like realtors - barely doing the bare minimum because they know if you need a car, you will have to go through them. My husband told him our situation and how I don?t have a set car in mind. We just need a second car in the next few weeks and I wanted to see my options. We had no intentions of buying as this is our research weekend. We hoped to buy in the next month. Jose and the manager suggested another model since I wasn?t married to the GLA. They took us to the other lot after their close time with a plan to test drive the next morning, if I liked what I saw. Less than 20 hours after seeing the car, I took the beast home. LOL this was by far the best car buying experience of my life. Not only did they give a fantastic deal, they also rode the perfect balance between caring for their clients and making them feel valued, without doing a hard sell. I contacted Jessica and along with the Sales team, they immediately replaced my windshield without hesitation for free. They were unaware of the crack when the vehicle was sold. Excellent customer service and keeps the customer satisfied. Jessica also answered all my technical questions I had about the car. She is very knowledgeable and helpful person in general. I live in Hawaii but bought my car from John C at MB of Walnut Creek because they had the car I wanted at a fair price. The buying process was very easy and the car exactly as represented online. I actually flew in to the Bay Area to look at the car because of a bad experience with another dealer. Upon hindsight, this was totally unnecessary as everything fell into pla e nicely abd as expected. Because this is a fixed price dealership, there was no negotiation. Given the keys to the cars I was interested in for test drive with no sales pressure. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I travelled a rather long distance for this particular used vehicle and they provided the information I needed before I departed. All that was required was to verify all was correct. It was. Their "no-negotiation" pricing was stress reducing. The asking price was fair, a little less than average, but probably more that I could have negotiated elsewhere - if I wanted to go that route. I preferred fair and a little less than average. They offered all the normal add-ons such as GAP insurance and extended warranty. They were respectful of my decision to decline. Even complimented me on being prepared with a prior analysis. I was pre-qualified with my credit union for the loan. They processed all the paperwork without a hitch. It may be a small courtesy, but they filled the fuel tank before we took the car. Funny thing, though. With the price of gas as it was that day, a full tank cost twice what I paid for my first car back in 1969! I really don't know what they could have done to make the experience better. I do recommend them for the purchase of a used vehicle.

After locating a used Mercedes that interested me I went to MB of WC to test drive it. It was the smallest MB SUV and did not meet my expectations. Jessica quickly went to work and found the larger model that we were really interested in. She immediately prepared it for a test drive even though it was after closing time on a Sunday night.
