On the entry-level S 550 trim, the sedan is equipped with turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 engine.
Pairing with a nine-speed automatic transmission, the V8 pushes out a plenteous 449 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. It gets rear-wheel drive by default, while the 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive platform is optional.
And we certainly can't knock its acceleratory abilities, either, as the S-Class can do the 0-to-60 mph dash in only 4.7 seconds.
