Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 55 models have a handcrafted AMG® 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that harnesses 469 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Both Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 63 models produce 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque through a heartier biturbo V8 engine. Each variant offers a plug-in hybrid option that adds a 150-kW electric motor to the V8 engine. Outputs are 831 horsepower and 1,032 pound-feet of torque in the four-door GT 63 S E Performance Coupe and 805 horsepower and 1,047 pound-feet of torque in the in the two-door GT model.
